Sally è arrivata in un giorno d'estate del 1999.
Però non si chiamava Sally. In realtà non so neanche se un nome ce l'aveva, prima.
Sally siamo proprio andati a cercarla, in un posto nella campagna di Rovigo. Era un lungo viaggio in auto. io, lidya e mamma.
Sally era proprio piccola piccola, e dormiva, e piangeva.
Poi Sally era a casa, abbastanza brutta, ancora quasi del tutto spelata.

I've been on the sea so many times in my life.
My parents brought me on the sea when I was sooo young I cannot remember.
My most beautiful days ever, I've had on the sea.
So it's no surprise that I feel so much when I go to the seaside...

In a terribly windy day, with snow gusts rushing the water, I've seen the sea again, and this is what I've seen.

But it was more...

So... no time to write on the blog, some time to take pics, but no time to upload them anywhere...
CDR is approaching at YES2, and there's so much work to do!

In some days I'll go to Sestriere, as paralympics volunteer, although I really have no idea about what I'm gonna do there!

Seems that it's quite a lucky time here in Holland!

This is a wonderful sculpture in Leiden. For me it has always been a lover, waiting with his tulips. It's right in the place where you would wait for your girlfriend.

Tomorrow some fotino tests, but today I really coldn't work...
So going to the office, the city was alive: market, people everywhere, sun shining...

The temperature was also much better and Leiden was filled with people and bikes!

Yes! from now on I promise: more photos!!!

Delta utec office is a great place to be.
It is a place where it's simply pleasant to be, and it is demonstrated by the fact that you could find people there at any time of day and night, even in non-working hours...

But why is it so cool? What makes an office a good alternative to a house for people?
Here's a list of my reasons:

• You'll always find cool and very smart people to talk to
  
• You can enter and exit the office without any time constraint
  
• You can eat at the office
  
• You can listen to music
  
• People smile

Finally I got to the Netherlands!
I'll be here for about six months and a lot of work is waiting for me...

I'll develop a new parachute for Fotino, the YES2 capsule, upgrade the Re-Entry Simulator, prepare some tests in plasma chambers, prepare a new LAMP tool to track the system database of the project...

I'm very excited about all these tasks and I'm really looking forward to actually start working, as yesterday I was too tired for all the travellign to do much apart from knowing new people of the project and having general briefings with Erik and Michiel.

I'm in München again!
Last time, I guess.
Just completed all the Secretary stuff, now I feel being almost in Netherlands...

München is always a fantastic city... It's nice to be in Garching again!
